ChipDX was an online genomic-data-analysis platform I developed in 2010 to simplify the process of turning patient gene expression profiles (GEP’s) into meaningful and clinically-useful results. After uploading a patient’s raw data file, the user could select from one or more analysis modules, including data quality control, prediction of tumor recurrence/survival, treatment response or identification of a tumor’s tissue of origin.


I created ChipDX using Microsoft .NET, SQL Server, R, Bioconductor and various Affymetrix components. More information can be found in this flyer (5MB PDF)

The system can be accessed for research-use-only at and is now owned by Signal Genetics, where it is used to manage the analysis and reporting of a proprietary genetic test for patients diagnosed with multiple myeloma; MyPRS.
